The Coachella crowd may not have been enthused about Outkast’s reunion, but who cares? The die-hard fans like me were more than pleased to stream the performance and hold mini concerts in our living rooms. (Everyone did that, right?).
Andre, Big Boi and Killer Mike weren’t able to perform “The Whole World,” so here it is, folks.
Be sure to check out Outkast if they come to a festival near you.
The Internet loves Easter! I do too, so I’ve gathered some of the best Easter crafts from around the Web. Fill your holiday weekend with eggs, pastels and bunnies galore.

In honor of the final season of Mad Men premiering this Sunday, AMC started it’s Then and Now series detailing the evolution of the show’s most popular characters.
Here’s the Then and Now for my favorite character Peggy Olsen, who went from Don Draper’s “girl” to… Well, I’ll keep that to myself for those of you who are still binge watching the series on Netflix.
You can also check out Then and Now videos for other Mad Men characters, including everyone’s favorite red head Joan Harris, on AMC’s YouTube page.
I can’t stand going to bars with beer snobs. I’m one of those just-get-me-the-cheapest-beer-that-doesn’t-taste-horribly people. Better yet, I’ll have a glass of Merlot.
If you’re anything like me then check out John Harvard’s Quick Guide to Beer Styles–it should ease your brew insecurities. It’s extremely comprehensive, so the next time you’re out you’ll know the difference between old ale, pale ale and cream ale (SO. MANY. ALES).
Cheers to becoming a beer connoisseur! Don’t say I never helped you. *sips brown ale*

Well, I’ve been extremely busy lately, which is why I have been slacking. Forgive me, but you know life happens.
- Once again it’s Beyonce Knowles-Carter’s week. I’m slightly annoyed that we have yet to hear or see a single, but The King surprised her French Beyhive with a performance of “Grown Woman.” Go ahead a press play if you haven’t seen it before Sony takes it off the interwebs.
- Blue Ivy’s mother also released a beautiful and sunny H&M commercial featuring a new song titled “Standing on the Sun.” Get into that dark mane…
- Janelle Monae shared a dream collaboration with the often imitated, but never duplicated Erykah Badu. Listen to “Q.U.E.E.N.”, which will appear on Monae’s sophomore LP The Electric Lady.

- Vogue Brazil unveiled the May 2013 cover featuring Naomi Campbell. Minus the hideous wig, Ms. Campbell is giving it to you like it’s the 90’s. Iconic.

Have a great weekend! I’ll be back next week with a brand new episode of Girl Talk.
It’s been an interesting week in pop culture. Let’s just get in to it, shall we?
Follow Outskirt on Tumblr if you like pretty things, nice art and loads of black and white fashion shots (don’t worry, there’s some color too). Outskirt’s Tumblr is the more visual aspect to the site—kind of like the hippie, art major little sister. You can also check out the latest tweets on the Tumblr blog, or just follow @myoutskirt on Twitter. It’s a social media world out there, so socialize baby.
